My paintings are inspired by shape, silhouette, light and shadow and the female body.
My work consists of acrylic paintings, watercolor sketches and abstract compositions. I like to combine shape - of the female body - with the use of expressive strokes of paint, using different painting techniques and surfaces. At a very young age my love for art started developping; drawing comics, painting landscapes and experimenting with abstract shapes, light and color. I studied at LUCA School of Arts, Ghent, Belgium and continued following several courses in graphic arts. Currently I teach art, aesthetics and graphics. I'm mother of two and I love to be creative in all kinds of other fields. |
